Forest Bathing with mindful photography at Micheldever Woods Friday 17th July 2026
A gentle, early evening, summer forest bathing experience using your phone or camera as a lens for nature connection within the beautiful surroundings of Micheldever Woods, near Winchester.
This slow and restorative woodland walk celebrates the height of summer and offers space to pause, breathe deeply, and reconnect, both with yourself and with the natural world as the forest settles into the quiet of the evening.
You are warmly invited to step away from the busyness of daily life and simply be among the trees.
Guided through a series of gentle Forest Lens invitations, you will be encouraged to slow down, awaken the senses, and notice the woodland in new and unexpected ways. This is not a technical photography workshop, and no experience is needed. Instead, you are invited to use photography simply as a tool for attention and nature connection rather than performance or perfection. You may find yourself drawn to small details, changing light, textures, shapes, and moments that might otherwise go unseen.
The evening closes with warm foraged tea and optional quiet reflection together.
This session may feel especially nourishing if you are feeling overwhelmed, creatively tired, emotionally stretched, or simply longing for a peaceful moment in nature.
